Young Boy Gets a Room for Himself

A 5 year old boy was sharing his mattress with his 8 year old sister.  He had a broken bedside table for some of his clothes and the rest were in a plastic bin.  His walls needed paint and his favourite colour was blue.

Now his light blue room has a sturdy bed with a new mattress, linens and comforter.  We found Spiderman pillowcases as that is his favourite cartoon character.  We brought a freshly painted school desk and a chair as well as school supplies and books appropriate to his age and interests.

This little fellow was very happy to see what he called a "big boy dresser".  The wall holds framed prints from the movies Jungle Book and Finding Nemo.  Behind the door was a towel bar with a new blue bath towel just for him.
