Mom Shared her Room with Two of her Children

Bedroom 1

The mom shared this room with two of her children. The mattress that is missing on the right is on the floor in the living room where one child slept to avoid severe heat conditions in the bedroom. The mattress on the right was old and stained. This room had holes in the wall (not shown) and needed a new coat of paint. Mom's bed is in the far corner.

The walls in this room were OK except for the longest wall which we patched and painted with various stripes. Now each child has a proper bed frame, new bedding, pillows and their favourite cartoon character on their blanket. These towels were embroidered by one of our amazing volunteers to reflect each child's interest.
