Sleeping with Mom

Before

This mom and her school aged twins live in a 2 room basement apartment.  They were all sleeping in mom's bed.

It was difficult for them to find space for storage too.

After 

We brought in a solid wood bunk bed with new mattresses, pillows and  linens for the twins.  The bed was missing a ladder to access the top bunk so one of our volunteers made one (not shown).  We also provided a basket of school supplies for each child. This family had nowhere to share a meal together so we found a small wood table and chairs at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.
