Pink bedrom for 12 year old girl

A 12 year old girl wanted a pink bedroom.Her mom saved and hired someone to paint it for $50, a large amount for her.The painter brought his own choice of paint, a harsh pink and applied only one coat which began to flake off in the following months. For privacy, they nailed an old grey sheet to the wall above the window.

Room for a Child painted the room a soft white and used her favourite pink and purple shades as highlights.A 50 year old dresser was painted white so she could move her clothes out of cardboard boxes

.Installed in her window was a lovely white Levelor venetian blind.An old desk was sanded and painted and a chair from a charity shop got a new seat cover

.She was so very happy with the result. And she later reported it was great to have a quiet work space away from her little brothers!
